Purdue SIGBots is excited to host the Purdue SIGBots Slam and Jam VEX U Qualifier! We will be hosting the competition at the Purdue Armory. For years now, we have been trying to bring the best competition experience to VEX U teams that we can, and we continue to push forward this year. We have a long history as one of the most competitive VEX U competitions in the world and are working to bring even more this year to raise the stakes.
Purdue's VEX U Team, ACM SIGBots, will be in attendance and welcomes all teams who are coming to have fun and compete.
Whether you are a new team or veteran team, we welcome you to join us!
Thank you to all teams in attendance for helping to support the Purdue ACM SIGBots.

On Friday, setup will begin around 5:30, if you would like to run skills that evening, you must help with setup.

If an issue or safety hazard arises during the event at the Stewart Center, immediately find and notify anyone wearing a black SIGBots shirt. For building wide emergencies, listen for Purdue University alerts: a building fire alarm means you must immediately evacuate using the stairs, while outdoor sirens mean you must shelter in place inside the facility. For severe, life threatening medical emergencies or fires, call 911 first, and then inform a black shirted staff member so they can help guide emergency responders to your location.

Event payments are expected to be paid when you register for the event and must be completed prior to the deadline. Teams that have not paid will be moved to the waitlist to allow teams on the wait list to register. Please contact us if there are considerations to be made.
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
All refunds will be repaid (We apologize, but these checks will be written from a student’s personal bank account & slowly reimbursed to the student over several months so we have no other option) with checks sent out within 1 month of the cancellation.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
All requests for refunds must be made 4 weeks prior to the event. Refunds will be processed within 1 month following the event

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
