General
Welcome to the Sunset Spartan Quest Tournament! We look forward to hosting you!
Please look at the Volunteer Section. Robotics Tournaments run smoothly when we have enough volunteers during the day.
Important Information about Notebooks and Interviews:

Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event.
-
Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on VexEvents.
-
Submission Deadline for Notebooks will be the Wednesday before the tournament and the exact date will be communicated with registered teams via email.
Refunds will be available up to two weeks prior to the event, minus the $5.00 non-refundable VexEvents Fee.

8:00 Doors Open: The front doors of the school will open for teams at 8:00 am.

Volunteers may arrive at 7:35 am if they signed up for the morning shift

8:00-8:30 Team Check-In & Inspection:

Team check in - Your coach will check you in. Please make sure most of your team has arrived before checking in.

Go straight to Robot Inspection immediately after check-in.

8:40 - 10:30 am Judging and Skills

We will have skills match running and teams will be assigned a judging time during this time.

10:30-10:45 Opening Remarks and Drivers Meeting

10:45-12:00 Qualification Matches

12:00-12:30 Lunch: Qualification matches will be paused at 12:00 for teams and volunteers to have lunch.

12:30-2:00 pm Qualification Matches Continued

2:30-3:30pm Finals Matches

In case of INCLEMENT WEATHER, as determined by St. Vrain Valley School District, the tournament will be canceled and no refunds will be available.

If the Event Partner cancels the event:

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In-Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. All notebooks must be submitted Wednesday by 6 pm (MST) before the tournament.
