Welcome! We are glad you have registered for our VEX IQ Open Tournament @ Eastside STEM Magnet HS
Date: December 19, 2026
Payment: Teams must submit payment at least by December 12, 2026 . Any teams that have not paid by this deadline may be removed at the event partner's discretion to make room for teams on the wait list. If teams would like to pay by check in person, coaches are asked to email the event partner (Israel Hernandez [email protected]) to make arrangements. Please make your check payable to Boyle Heights STEM Student Body - Robotics.
Forms: Before your first league session, please upload a Participant Release Form for each student and adult team member for each team. Team members who change teams should upload a Participant Release Form for their new team. Adult team members of multiple teams should upload a Participant Release Form for each team. Be careful to delete any hyphens that appear by default in the name fields.
Engineering Notebook Remote Judging: Teams will be invited to submit Digital Engineering Notebooks online and to schedule Remote Judging Team Interviews by Saturday, December 12, 2026.
Interviews: In-Person
Venue: This league will be meeting in the Gym at Eastside STEM Magnet High School at the Hilda L. Solis Learning Academy, 319 N Humphreys Ave, East Los Angeles, CA 90022. Parking is available in the parking lot north of New York St near N Humphreys Ave and on the streets. We will have three competition fields and three practice fields at each session.

In the event of an unforessen weather event we will attempt to reschedule, If another date is not availiable, the event will be cancelled.

If the Event Partner cancels the event:
If the Event Partner cancels the event, refunds will be given.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
Before Registration closes refunds will be given.
After registration closes, no refunds will be given except in the case of bad weather.

All Remote Judging - The Initial Team Interviews will be conducted remotely, and Engineering Notebooks will be submitted to judges digitally via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. Initial Interviews and Notebook submission deadlines may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
