Pioneer Elementary invites you to join us for our VEX IQ Robotics Competition "The Year of the Robot" for ELEMENTARY Teams!
We are welcoming 24 teams to our school to compete. We will run a full event with both Teamwork and Skills Challenges. This will be a qualifier for the Utah State Championship!*
This event will have all Remote Engineering Notebooks. Teams must upload their enigneering notebook link to their VEX Events account by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, January 18. Late uploads and day of the event submissions will not be accepted. The Team Interviews will be in-person on the day of the event.
*Qualifying criteria must be met.
Concessions will be available to purchase at the event. All proceeds from the concessions will go to our VEX Robotics program to support and grow our program.

* Each team will be allowed 3 skills runs for both Driver Skills and Autonomous Skills.
** Judging will include judging for the Excellence Award, Design Award, Innovate Award, and Judges Award.

If weather makes traveling dangerous for teams, please stay home. If we must cancel the tournament due to dangerous weather situations, we will re-schedule if possible. As much notice due to inclement weather will be given as possible.

If the Event Partner cancels the event: Refunds will be given.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: This will be handled on a case-by-case basis and may include no refund given.

- Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In-Person Team Interviews:
- Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event.
- Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact.
- Engineering notebooks are due by 4:00 PM on Monday Jan 18th.
