Welcome to TAI-VEX VEX V5 Robotics Competition™ (HS)!
This event is open to high school teams and will offer Skills challenges. The Skills field closes when the last qualification match ends.
This is a one-day event; it will take place in the gym of the American School in Taichung!

Late Arrivals
Teams must be checked in 45 minutes prior to the start of the qualification matches so that the match schedule may be printed. Teams must contact the event partner if they are running late or they will be removed from the team list for the event.

In the case of bad weather conditions or possible cancellations, please visit the event on events.vex.com where updates about the event status will be posted as needed. Event Partners will also make every effort to reach teams directly in case of an emergency. Make sure your team contact information is up to date in your events.vex.com account, as this is the information that will be used to contact your team. Teams should make sure their contact information in events.vex.com is up to date and includes both school and non-school phone numbers.

If the Event Partner cancels the event，
Refunds are made at the discretion of the event partner and only if there are extenuating circumstances.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend, we do not issue refunds in these cases.
No refund for no show or withdraw teams.
Teams who have not paid by the payment deadline will be moved to the waitlist.

- Remote Engineering Notebooks: Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link in the "My Account" panel of the team contact on events.vex.com. The submission deadline is 12-Oct-2026, 17:00 Taiwan Standard Time. Teams can participate in this event without an Engineering Notebook and still be interviewed, but the Team will not earn any top judged awards.
