Schedule

At least 6 matches per team in qualification and expect teams to be ready for the first match around 9AM.   

The event typically finishes early, before 5pm.  

 

Inspection 

Verify that your team meets the inspection checklist and requirements. 

Bring a printed inspection sheet to ensure your team's inspection process moves quickly.   

 

Volunteers

We are always looking for more volunteers to make the event run smoothly. 

If you have additional students or parents that would like to volunteer. 

The most important volunteers are referees and judges.  Contact us directly if you have any questions about the volunteer process.

Notebook and Judging 

Please send a link to your notebook by Oct 30. 

Teams that did not submit a notebook will not be judged for excellence / design award.  

 

Food

There are lots of food options near the venue for lunch.  

Assume concessions will not be available. 

 

Parking

Lamar has a multi-story parking garage with lots of spaces. Bus parking will be available on the westheimer side but that will be a long walk from the event.   

Be prepared to walk with a cart from the garage and potentially take an elevator with your equipment. 

 

Friday Nov 6 Setup

If your team wants to practice or get inspected early. 

We will be setting up the fields on Friday Nov 6, from 4:30-9pm   

 

Field Setup 

The event will have 2 fields and skills field (all white plastic fields).  

A practice metal field will be available but it will not have a full set of elements. 

If you want to bring a field to practice, please send a direct message.
