Welcome to Franklin Junior/Senior High School's Clash at the Castle - Qualifying Tournament! While any team can register for this Open event, it is intended for Western PA teams to have an opportunity to compete locally.

We will be utilizing volunteers from our school, but will also need coaches and mentors to fill roles when they are at the competition. Responsibilities for volunteers will be determined after registration has closed, but may occur as late as competition day. In the event bad weather or emergency closure, event partners will notify coaches via email and phone the day before the event. This event may not be rescheduled due to gym availability.

If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Refunds will only be issued in the event of a weather cancellation or extenuating circumstance as determined by the Event Partner. You may contact Alyssa Mansfield to discuss the circumstances.

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In-Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
Engineering notebook submissions need to be submitted into VEX events no later than Monday, November 16, 2026.
