معلومات عامة

Welcome to the CPHS Late Season VEX Robotics Tournament!

Saturday, March 6, 2027 | Taft Middle School | Crown Point, Indiana

Crown Point High School Robotics is excited to welcome teams to our Blended Middle School and High School VEX V5 Robotics Competition!

As the competition season approaches its conclusion, we know teams are looking for every opportunity to compete, refine their robots, and improve their Robot Skills scores. Our goal is to provide a well-organized, competitive, and enjoyable tournament that gives teams plenty of opportunities to do just that.

Five Competition Fields and Expanded Robot Skills Opportunities

One of the highlights of our tournament is our emphasis on providing teams with ample opportunities to complete their Robot Skills runs.

We will have five fields available throughout the event:

  • 2 Competition Fields for qualification and elimination matches

  • 3 Dedicated Robot Skills Fields during qualification rounds

  • 5 Robot Skills Fields during our special afternoon Skills session

Following lunch, we will pause qualification matches for a full hour of Skills-only competition from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. During this time, all five fields will be available exclusively for Robot Skills runs.

Whether your team is looking to improve its Driving Skills score, fine-tune its Autonomous Coding Skills program, or complete its remaining attempts, we want to provide plenty of opportunities to compete.

Important: In accordance with Global Robotics policy, Robot Skills will close no later than the conclusion of the final qualification match. Teams should plan accordingly and complete their Skills attempts before qualification rounds end. Each team is limited to three Driving Skills and three Autonomous Coding Skills attempts.

Event Location

PLEASE NOTE: This tournament is being held at Taft Middle School, NOT Crown Point High School.

Cash and credit/debit cards will be accepted.

We encourage teams to support our robotics program by visiting the concession stand during the event.

Team Pit Areas and Power

Each team will be provided with a designated pit area and access to one electrical outlet.

Teams should bring their own power strip to accommodate battery chargers, laptops, and other equipment.

Please keep pit areas organized and walkways clear throughout the tournament.

However, our guest network can become heavily congested during large events. Teams should not rely on having a consistent internet connection throughout the day.
