4:00 PM Teams that have passed inspection may ask to use the Competition fields for practice to initialize and calibrate any sensors under the lighting in the Ballroom.The lighting will not change during the run of the event.

Please make sure that the team's Primary contact has a valid email address and checks it regularly for any updates to changes made to any aspect of this event!

Team Interviews will be conducted in person in teams pits. Second In-person interviews will be done in the pits.

Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Submission deadline will be February 15, 2026.
Inspection Guidelines
Inspection Guidelines
It is each team’s responsibility to arrive on site with a robot ready to be inspected.
We will start inspection at 3:00pm on February 27. We will close inspection at 7:45PM. Any Robot that has not passed inspection by 7:45pm will not be allowed to participate in this event.
Please download and print out the “Inspection Check List”. You can find the Inspection Check List in the Documents Tab online, and at his link.

Have your coach sign the back page, and please fill in your team Number on the front page. Bring it with you to the inspection line in the Competition Ballroom.
Those teams that pass Sizing and have their coaches signature will get a Fast Pass to the head of the line for the next inspection step.
Size Inspection
The first inspection table will be for sizing. Please make sure you have complete knowledge of sizing as outlined in in the Game Manual.
Plastic inspection
If your robot has any plastic pieces, please make sure you have complete knowledge of the use of plastics as outlined in in the Game Manual.
If you have any plastic, you must provide drawings, identical spares, or 1:1 scale tracing of their non-shattering plastic pieces to aid in inspection. Drawings and tracings should accurately reflect ALL shapes and dimensions of each piece.
Be prepared to show proof that the plastic you have is non-shattering.
Failure to provide the above listed requirements will be grounds for NOT passing Inspection
Legal Parts: Rubber Bands
If you are using Rubber bands, be prepared to show examples of the bands off of the robot, that you are using on your robot. Please make sure you have complete knowledge of rubber bands that are legal as outlined in in the Game Manual. Be preppared to show proof of the band being identical in length and thickness to those in the VEX product line.
Failure to provide the above proof of being a legal part will be grounds for NOT passing inspection.

UPDATE TO CANOPIES ALLOWED NEAR THE RESORT.
AN AGREEMENT HAS BEEN REACHED TO ALLOW CANOPIES FOR SERVING LUNCHES TO TEAM MEMBERS IN THE RIVER PARK PARK.
PLEASE CLICK ON THE DOCUMENT TAB AND VIEW THE MAPS PROVIDED OF THE RESORT AND THE LAYOUT OF THE ROOMS FOR PIT, COMPETITION AND PRACTICE AND SKILLS FIELDS.
Please be advised that due to the nature of hosting this event at a Convention Center type facility, certain restrictions are part of the nature of this event.
We understand the need to feed the team’s lunches and the need to keep team members hydrated. Please note that no food purchased off site will be allowed in the buildings. Teams may have drinks and snacks in their pits.
There will be people monitoring the entry doors checking for this policy. Violating this policy can be considered a G1 violation.
There are two restaurants on site. There is also a market on site that offers lunch boxes and other menu items for lunch.
There will be no food trucks available.
Food purchased offsite can be consumed in a hotel room or at the River Park Park.

Failure to so do could put your team in a G1 situation. Not knowing the policies and procedures will not excuse team members from consequences that could lead to disqualification.
