Allgemeine Info

We’re excited to welcome you to Seton Hall University for our first-ever high school robotics competition

Please note that, in accordance with university event regulations, this competition is exclusively for registered high school teams. Middle school teams will not be competing in this event.

Our team will be working to live-stream the matches and award ceremonies, if possible.

While food will not be provided, there are plenty of dining options both on campus and nearby, where teams and visitors are welcome to grab a meal or snack throughout the day.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Freiwilliger

Thank you for your interest in volunteering. Currently, there is no need for additional volunteers. If a need arises shortly before or during the event, teams will be offered the opportunity to volunteer. 

Notfall-/Schlechtwetterrichtlinie

In the event of bad weather or an emergency, our team will contact all teams immediately, as soon as we are made aware of such an emergency or adverse weather conditions.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Partial refunds will be issued in the amount of the cost of the event minus $5.00.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event and then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

The team will not be refunded.

We are fortunate to be streamed on the FUN network for this event. Join in the fun and the stream 

Bewertungsformat

Team interviews will be conducted in person at the event.

Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. 

All notebook submissions need to be submitted before 12:00 pm on Feb. 21st.
