In the 2.0 manual, Alliance Goals are protected, violation notes: "Intentional, strategic, or egregious interactions, including any interactions involving the addition or removal of Placed Scoring Objects on the Goal, will be considered Major Violations.
Does this mean that ONLY interactions involving the addition or removal of Placed Scoring Objects on the Goal that are intentional, strategic, or egregious are Major Violations (where the clause starting with "including..." acts as a clarifying example of the types of interactions being evaluated and does not strip away the core conditions (intentional, strategic, or egregious) that define whether the interaction rises to a Major Violation.)? Or does this mean that all interactions involving the addition or removal of Placed Scoring Objects on the Goal are also a major violation?
In the next game manual update, <SG9> violation note #2 will be revised to clarify our intent. This should read as:
- Intentional, strategic, or egregious interactions, as well as any interactions involving the addition or removal of Placed Scoring Objects on the Goal, will be considered Major Violations.
Any interaction by a Robot that causes the addition or removal of Placed Scoring Objects on an opposing Alliance-colored Goal will result in a Major Violation, regardless of intent.
