The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.
For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

All teams will have 1 practice match and 6 qualification matches.
Saturday
12:30 pm - Doors Open, Check-in, and Inspection
Skills Field: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Judging: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm (pick time slot on white board)
Qualification matches: 1:00pm - 4:00 pm
Final Matches: 4:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Award Ceremony: 5:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Notfall-/Schlechtwetterrichtlinie
In the event of an emergency/bad weather, the tournament will be postponed/cancelled and teams will be notified via phone/email.
Refund and Payment Policies
Cancellation: Teams can cancel with 1 week notice and receive a full refund. Teams that cancel with less than 1 week notice, will be billed for the full cost of the event if the waitlist is exhausted and your spot is empty.
Payment Methods: Cheque is preffered made payable to Western Mechatronics Association. Other options are available including E-transfer, Cash

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews
Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Digitial submission deadline is 11pm MT April 14, 2026.
