Allgemeine Info
Battle for Placer Gold Invitational is an invite-only event , with priority consideration given to Placer area/Greater Sacramento teams. Contact us at [email protected] or place your team on the waitlist to be considered.
We do accept other teams after priority teams have completed their registrations on a case by case basis- typically to school based or independent teams that have not yet qualified for the region championships. Please add your team to the waitlist and contact us at [email protected] for consideration.
All events will receive Northern California championship award bids based on the Global Robotics Qualifying Criteria. The awards slots will be allocated by Global Robotics later in the season.
Please make sure to review the refund policies and payment deadlines - any team not paid in full by payment deadline will be moved to the waitlist.

Please make sure your team's contact information is up to date in your events.vex.com account in the event we need to contact your team.

Payment is expected at the time of registration. Teams who have registered but have not paid or submitted by the event payment deadline will be moved to the waitlist.
If you are registering after the payment deadline, you must complete payment at time of registration or you will be moved to the wait list immediately.
If the event is cancelled, the registration fee will be refunded.
No refunds will be provided after the payment deadline.

We highly encourage everyone to avoid coming into the facility if you are not feeling well and follow all commonly expected safety and health precautions.

- Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. The submission deadline is February 2, 2026, 5pm
