Competition Day Schedule

Elementary & Middle School

8:00 AM – Doors Open & Inspection Begins
Doors open for all teams. Elementary and Middle School teams may begin inspection.

8:30 AM – Driver's Meeting
Driver's Meeting for all Elementary and Middle School teams.

9:00 AM – Competition Begins
Elementary School: Skills opens.
Middle School: Qualification Matches begin.

11:30 AM – Morning Session Ends / Lunch
Elementary School Skills closes.
Middle School Qualification Matches end.
Teams break for lunch and prepare to switch competition areas.

12:00 PM – Afternoon Session Begins
Elementary School: Qualification Matches begin.
Middle School: Skills opens.

2:30 PM – Afternoon Session Ends
Elementary School Qualification Matches end.
Middle School Skills closes.

2:45 PM – Finals
Final matches begin for both divisions.

3:00 PM – Awards
Awards ceremony for Elementary and Middle School divisions.

Schedule times are approximate and may be adjusted as needed.

Voluntario

We will need volunteers for this event.

High school students will receive community service hours.

Teams need to pay within 2 weeks of registering or by the payment deadline. 

Teams that have not paid may be moved to the waitlist. 

All refunds for payments through events.vex.com may require 6-8 weeks to process.

Before 4 weeks - Full refund less website Fees

Within 4 weeks - No refund  (barring extenuating circumstances with documentation)

Formato de evaluación

There are two sides to a VEX Robotics event: the part where robots score points, and the judging. Judging itself has two parts: team notebooks and team interviews. A variety of awards are available.

Neither interviews nor notebooks are required.  Your team can simply focus on the "robot scores the points" portion if you prefer.

For this event, the notebooks and the initial round of judging will take place before the competition day.

If you want your notebook judged:

Notebooks must be submitted electronically.

All notebook links should be uploaded two weeks before the event.  We’ll do our best to contact teams if a link doesn’t work, but please note that judging may occur at any time during that time.

If you would like an interview:

Initial team interviews will also be scheduled before the tournament.
