Welcome to the Redbird Robotics VEXU Robotics Competition!
Thank you for signing up for our event. Please complete your payment before the event payment deadline, January 3rd.
Participant Release Form:
Participant Releases are Electronic and must be submitted by January 3rd. The link is the Document Tab.
Notebooks:
If your team is submitting a notebook please have a digital version submitted on events.vex.com by January 3rd 11:59 PM.
Inspections:
Please help speed up our inspection time in the morning of by checking your students robots prior to the day of the event and have the team members update the Firmware to the brain. Also, make sure students robots will only have one visible color for the license plate showing at a time. Inspection must include documentation of your custom fabricated parts to ensure within regulations. If anything is in question of legality, please be able to prove that it is.
Team Meeting:
Our Head Referees and scorekeepers will be well versed in the rules and highly passionate about the game. We encourage your teams to bring all your questions to the meeting and we will do our best to offer clarity.
Skills Field:
As soon as you have passed inspection, your team may enter the skills field line. Fields will be the portable fields with GPS codes printed on them. Skills field will close promptly at the start of Elimination matches. Those running skills will be brought over to the elimination matches to help referee.
Qualification Matches:
Our goal is start matches at 10:00 AM. Each team will have at least 6 qualification matches.
Lunch:
We currently have a Lunch break scheduled for our awesome volunteers from 12:00-12:30 pm, but this is subject to change.
Food Pizza
There is also a food court in the SAC building which is about a 10 minute walk though lunch time is limited and there are other events in that building.
Awards:
We will be awarding 3 Judged honors (Excellence, Design, and Judges) along with Tournament Champions and Skills Champion.

8:00 AM - Volunteer Arrival
8:30 AM - Doors open / Team Check-In / Inspections
8:30 AM - Practice Field and Skills Open
9:45 AM - Inspection Closes / Drivers Meeting
10:00 AM - Qualification Matches Begin
12:00 PM - Lunch Break
12:30 PM - Qualification Matches and Skills Resume
3:00 PM - Elimination Matches Begin
4:00 PM - Awards / Teardown and Cleanup
Voluntario
Volunteer Coordinator: Gary Osborne
Sign-Up: comming soon.
Experience Level: No previous experience is needed for most volunteer positions.
Time Commitment: You can register for an entire day, or just a portion of the day as your schedule permits for most positions.
Meals: Lunch and hospitality area provided for all volunteers.

The event may be rescheduled in case of emergency/bad weather. Coaches will be contacted if issues arise.
Políticas de reembolso y pago
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
- All but 30.00 dollars will be returned to teams. This will only be canceled due to bad weather.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
- Refunds will not be given to teams cancelling less than two weeks before the competition. Refunds will be sent out from the event to teams who cancel in due time. If teams registered and paid through events.vex.com we must receive the funds from events.vex.com first.
Formato de evaluación
Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions by January 2nd 11:59 PM / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
