Información general

Thanks for considering our Mix and Match Vex IQ Middle School tournament. This event will begin at 12:30pm with doors opening at 12:30pm and will be completed by 5:30pm. There will be in-person judging, skills, and a tournament on four fields, running two matches at a time.

We are located at Tri-West middle school, just west of Indianapolis, in Lizton Indiana. We are just south of Interstate 74.

This will be a state qualifier tournament that is a fast paced, half day event.

A hard copy of the Engineering notebook will need to be brought in the day of the event if you want to be part of judging.

There will be a snack stand with chips, candy, hot dogs, nachos, and drinks. They will accept cash and credit cards.

Enter the school complex off or State road 136. Parking will be on the south side of the Middle School. Enter through Door 7 and registration will be just inside.

Orden del día

12:30pm Doors open - Check in and drop off engineering notebook.

12:45pm Inspections, Skills and Judging interviews begin. Must have robot inspected by 1:30pm. Judging and Skills will be open once you pass inspection. For judging, you will need to go the the judging room for interviews. This will be on a first come first serve basis. Teams that do not get the interviews completed by 4:30pm will not be given a judging award. Skills will be held in the Gym which is the same place the matches will be held.

4:30pm Last interview for Judging

5:00pm Finals and Awards

5:30pm Event over - Clean up (any help you can give is appreciated).

Due to the limited space for events, we will not issue a refund for any other reason.

Payment Deadline is December 26th, 2026. Not paying by this date may mean that your team may be placed on the waitlist to make room for another team.

Please consider the health of your students and the possiblity of spreading that illness to other students. If they are sick, please have them stay home.

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit them when they check-in. Notebooks will be returned at the same table as they check in at, don't forget to pick them up on the way out of the event.
