This Tournament is a dual tournament where middle school and elementary school tournaments will be running simultaneously and separate with separate awards.

Snowball Showdown hosted by Bellefontaine City Schools, home of the highest point in Ohio, is excited to host our first tournament of the Level Up season and put on a Dual Tournament of the Highest Quality.

Matches & Judging:

Please familiarize yourselves and your teams with the VIQRC Level Up Game Manual
In-Person Judging (see Judging Format page for more details)

Food:

Lunch will be provided to all participating teams. (Pizza, Bottled Water)
Concessions will be available for a variety of items.
Advisors and Volunteers will have access to a hospitality suite.

Miscellaneous Information:

All pit tables will have access to power. Please bring a surge protector/power strip to make sure you have enough outlets for your team
We will try to have a dedicated Wi-Fi network available for teams to access during this event. Please check to make sure your technology is set up to access connectivity while you are away from your building.

7:00 am - Staff and Volunteers arrive

8:00 am - Doors Open to Teams, Check-In, Inspections

9:30 am - Event Meeting

9:45 am - 12:00 pm - Qualification Matches

12:00 pm - 1:00 pm - Lunch / Skills

1:00 pm - 3:00 pm - Qualification Matches

3:00 pm - Alliance Selection

3:30 pm - 4:00 pm - Elimination Matches

4:15 pm - Awards Presentation

In the event of bad weather, we will make every attempt to contact all coaches by email, phone, or text, as well as make announcements through social media of any changes of the event or the event schedule.

If the Event Partner cancels the event:

We will try to reschedule but will not be able to issue any refunds due to the cost of putting on our event.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

There will be no refunds for individual team cancellations.

Formato de evaluación

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
