Lakeland Middle Preparatory School is excited to welcome robotics teams back for the 2026–2027 school year!
Get ready to “Roar In The Lion’s DEN” as teams put their engineering design, coding, and driving skills to the test! We are thrilled to host another competitive VEX IQ Robotics event at Lakeland Prep, located inside the high school gymnasium. This will be a day filled with innovation and teamwork! Volunteers are an essential part of making our robotics events successful! We encourage anyone interested in supporting our teams and students to sign up. (A volunteer sign-up link will be posted as soon as possible.)
Note: All participants will be required to submit the VEX Liability Release Form prior to participating in the event.
Note: Camping chairs are not allowed in the gym, but stadium seats are welcome

Each organization will be asked to provide at least ONE volunteer. These volunteers can be coaches and/or other adults traveling with the team. Organizations will be assigned volunteer duties. If you or your volunteers have a particular role you would like to fill, please email Casey Lieder at [email protected] to make that request.

If the weather is severe enough to warrant cancellation of the event, notices will be sent as soon as possible to all participants via email.

If the Event Partner cancels the event:
If EP cancels the event, refunds will be issued.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
Refunds will NOT be issued. All registrations must be paid in full within 3 weeks after the team is registered, unless other arrangements have been made with the EP. Unpaid teams will be moved to the waitlist 3 weeks after registration. Clear communication will keep teams from being moved to the waitlist.
Formato de evaluación
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
