EPISD CTE STEM Competition Center Presents.

We are excited to be hosting our 2nd Annual Haunted Override Showdown V5RC Robotics Competition on October 29th! The event will take place at our new EPISD CTE STEM Competition Center at 5300 Warriors Way, El Paso, TX. Please look be on the look out for an updated map of where to park and bus parking.  Tournament viewing for the parents will be available at Don-Haskins Pk-8. 

 

Agenda

8:00 AM

  • Doors open

  • Teams begin arriving

  • Teams must bring printed rosters for participating students

  • Coaches must have IDs visible

  • Parents will not be permitted (viewing for parents will be available next door @ Don Haskins Pk-8)

8:15AM

  • Team inspections begin 

9:40 Drivers meeting

  • Drivers Meeting/Scoring Updates/Rules/Etiquette

10:00 AM

  • Qualification Matches Begin

Working Lunch (conscessions will be available)(restaraunts are available on Doniphan)

12:30 PM

  • Qualification Matches End

12:40 PM

  • Elimination Matches Begin

Awards Ceremony

  • Immediately following finals 

 

Housekeeping Items

  • No food is permitted inside The STEM Competition Center only in the pit areas.

  • Parent are only allowed @ Don Haskins Pk-8  where the matches will be streaming

In the unlikely event that an emergency/weather would force the event to be cancelled, all listed team coaches will be notified by provided email and phone as early as possible.

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Refund will be given.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

In the event that you need to cancel, please make sure to notify [email protected].  In order to receive a refund, you must cancel 1 week before the day of the tournament so that teams in the waitlist have sufficient time to make arrangments.  If you registered and did not show, you will not receive a refund. 

Formato de evaluación

Please review the following Judging Format options and keep the ones that apply to your event, and delete the others that do not apply.

  •  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
