Welcome! This is the "Winter 805" Override Vex V5 tournemant held at Pioneer Valley High School Cafeteria in Santa Maria, CA. We are excited to provide this new opportunity-especially for all the new local teams in the area. The event is intended to support the growing robotics programs within Region 3. Only teams within the region will qualify for the State Championship in Region 3.
Make sure that you are marked as paid (or PO received) by the payment deadline or you may be moved to the waitlist at the discretion of the Event Partner.
The venue is in a large cafeteria adjacent to parking. Therefore, rain or shine we are committed to providing an excellent experience, but be prepared to protect your electronics as you enter and exit.
We will have two tournament fields, a skills field, and a practice field. There will be in-person judging only.
Check-in and inspection opens at 8:30am. The deadline for inspection will be 9:30am. The tournament will not be held up by late arrivals. Matches will begin at 10:00am. Teams that have not checked in by 9:30am will be dropped from the roster so that the match list may be run.Teams that are running late must contact the event partner prior to this cut off if they do not wish to be dropped and may still be dropped under the discretion of the Event Partner and in consideration of the other teams present.

If adverse weather causes travel delays and prevents teams from competing, a refund may be available. Contact [email protected] before the beginning of the event. Please make sure your team contact information is up to date in your events.vex.com account in case we need to contact your team prior to the event.

If the Event Partner cancels the event: Due to all the costs involved with this event, any refunds will be given after all the event expenses have been paid.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: Only under extraordinary circumstances and at the discretion of the EPs will the team will be given a full refund. Otherwise, no refund will be given.
Teams that have not paid by the deadline will be moved to the waitlist.

- All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams can bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges, no electronic copies will be accepted for this event. If a team has an electronic notebook, please print out a copy to turn in at check-in.
- Deadline for Design Notebook submission is 9:30am to be considered for related awards.
