Welcome to Aurelia Cole’s Trailblazer V5 Showdown! Aurelia Cole Academy is hosting middle and high school VEX V5 Robotics Competition teams for a day of Override competition in Clermont, Florida.
This is a blended, 24-team tournament. Teams will compete in qualification matches, have an opportunity to participate in the Robot Skills Challenge, and finish the day with alliance selection and elimination matches. Global Robotics & Science Foundation is working with Aurelia Cole Academy to provide the competition equipment and support the event.

Voluntario
It takes a great group of volunteers to give students a smooth competition day, and we would love your help at the Trailblazer V5 Showdown.
We are looking for adults to help with judging, queuing, team check-in, inspection, scorekeeping, and other event operations. Some roles require advance training or certification; other roles are a good fit for first-time volunteers. Full-day help is especially valuable, but please let us know if you are available for only part of the day.
If you would like to volunteer, please contact the Event Partner through the contact information on this listing and tell us which roles interest you and when you are available.

The safety of students, volunteers, and guests comes first. If severe weather or another emergency affects the event, the Event Partner will coordinate with the venue and provide updates through this event page and email to registered teams when available.
Please check the event page and your registration email before traveling if conditions may affect the schedule. Follow directions from event staff and venue personnel while on campus.
Políticas de reembolso y pago
The registration fee is $100 per team. Teams should follow the payment instructions and due date shown in their events.vex.com registration.
If the Event Partner cancels the event, registered teams will receive a refund of the event registration fee. Team withdrawal and unpaid-registration terms still need Kelly’s approval before this block is published. Once confirmed, add those terms here and make sure they match the event’s registration settings.
Formato de evaluación
- Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In-Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
