Welcome to the annual Battle in the Bayou - VEX IQ Robotics Competition!
There will be concessions and lunch options at the facility.
We’re looking forward to an exciting and successful tournament!

- Grade Level: Elementary and Middle School Teams
- Skills Challenge Offered: Yes
- Judging Format: Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Digital notebooks are due January 8, 2026 by 4:00PM CT.

Skills fields will close at the end of the final qualifying match.
We’ll do our best to run as many matches as possible to ensure a great experience for all teams! Please note that the schedule may shift throughout the day, and the event may conclude earlier than expected depending on match flow.

If the Event Partner cancels for reasons beyond our control, we will do our best to reschedule or provide a credit toward registration for a future event.
If a Coach needs to cancel for any reason, we are unable to offer a refund.

If the Event Partner cancels the event, refunds will be given or credit towards a future competition.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend, no refunds.
