1:00 PM – Qualification Matches and Robot Skills Resume

2:30 PM – Robot Skills Close

2:45 PM – Qualification Matches Conclude

3:00 PM – Finals Alliances Announced

3:15 PM – Finals Matches Begin

4:00 PM – Awards Ceremony

This schedule is tentative and may be adjusted based on the final number of registered teams. Teams will receive their individual match and interview schedules at the event.

Help Us Make the Starstruck Showdown Shine!

The Starstruck Showdown @ Grassy Lake would not be possible without an amazing team of volunteers!

We need help with judging, refereeing, inspections, field reset, team check-in, concessions, and other event-day activities. No previous robotics experience is required for many roles, and training and instructions will be provided.

Whether you can help for the entire event or part of the day, your support will help us create a fun, welcoming, and memorable experience for our students and families.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

The safety of our teams, families, volunteers, and staff is our highest priority.

In the event of severe weather, school closure, or another emergency affecting the Starstruck Showdown @ Grassy Lake, schedule changes or cancellation information will be posted on the event page and communicated directly to registered teams whenever possible.

Please check the event page for the latest information before traveling to Grassy Lake Elementary School.

Refund and Payment Policies

Event Cancellation

If the Event Partner cancels the Starstruck Showdown @ Grassy Lake, your team’s registration fee will be refunded in full.

Team Cancellation

Registering reserves a limited spot for your team and commits the Event Partner to event-related expenses. If a coach or mentor withdraws a team or chooses not to attend after registering, the registration fee is non-refundable.

Payment Policy

Registration fees must be paid within two weeks of registering or by the payment deadline listed on events.vex.com, whichever comes first.

Teams that do not submit payment by the deadline may be moved to the waitlist, and their spot may be offered to another team.

•  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
