Wallace State is excited to host the 2026-27 Lion's Pride Spring Tournament. We will release more information here as it becomes available.

Grade Level: Middle & High School

Skills Challenge Offered: Yes

Judging Format: In-Person Interviews with remote digital notebook judging. Deadline to submit your team's digital notebook is noon, Central Time, Monday, February 1, 2027. Submissions with a date/time stamp after this deadline will not be reviewed for judged awards, no exceptions. Physical notebooks will not be accepted on the day of the contest, no exceptions.

Skills Field Opens (3 attempts per team for Driver Skills and 3 attempts per team for Robot (Programming) Skills, See note below)

Team Interviews begin at 8:30, after passing inspection

Volunteers are the backbone of the Global Robotics/Vex system. If you would like to participate as a volunteer we would certainly encourage you to let us know. Please reach out to the Event Partner within a week of the event so we can place you in a position you are qualified for. If you hold Head Referee, Judging or Score Keeper credentials for this season please let us know that as well. Thank you for considering participation as a volunteer for our event.

In the event of bad weather, this event is subject to being cancelled. A final determination on cancellation will be made noon on the day before the event is to be held. Notification will come through the email addresses posted in events.vex.com for the coach and assistant coach for each team. Please check your email during the week prior to the event for updates.

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Due to how Global Robotics payments are sent to Wallace State, we are unable to offer refunds to teams that have completed payment. In the event the Event Partner (EP) Needs to cancel this event after payment has been made, fees paid can be applied to a future Wallace State event.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

We are unable to offer refunds for this event. Because of this, teams should wait to make payment until they are certain they can and want to attend while being mindful of the payment due date. Any team unpaid by payment due date will be removed from the registered team list without notification.

If a team has to withdraw from competition after payment is made, the Event Partner can consider transferring the registration fee to another, future Wallace State hosted event.

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. The deadline to digitally submit the engineering notebook with be noon, Central Time, Monday, February 1, 2027.

Submissions with a date/time stamp after this deadline will not be reviewed for judged awards, no exceptions. Physical engineering notebooks will not be accepted the day of the event.
