Registration Payment information:

Teams are required to make registration payment by Feb 26, if registration payment is not received by the due date then the team will be moved to the waitlist.

Important information to help prepare for the event

  1. Review the rules, the code of conduct, and run through the inspection checklist
  2. Check the VEX Forum and the Q&A for official rule updates and changes.
  3. Review the descriptions and criteria for the awards that are being given during the tournament. 
  4. Please ensure that you have the latest version of firmware.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

IMPORTANT! If your team will be late, you must call the Event Partner (Primary Contact on the General Info tab). If your team is not checked in on time, the match schedule will be run without your team and they cannot compete. The match schedule CANNOT be run after the tournament begins.

SATURDAY, Mar 7

2:00 PM         Inspections and SKILLS OPEN

6:00 PM         Inspection and SKILLS CLOSES

SUNDAY, Mar 8

8:00 am         Check-In Open, Pits Open, and Inspections Open

9:00 am         Inspection Closes

9:15 am         Opening Ceremony and Drivers Meeting 

10:00 am        Qualification Matches Begin, Skills Field Opens

12:30 pm        30-minute Lunch Break

5:00 pm          Qualification Matches End, Skills Field Closes

5:30 pm          Finals Matches, Final Awards

Politica in caso di emergenza/maltempo

In case of bad weather this event may be cancelled.  Teams are advised to watch robotevents.com for weather related updates.   If the tournament must be cancelled or postponed, the name of the tournament will change to cancelled or postponed.  In the event of a cancellation or postponement, teams will be sent additional information via email.  

Refund and Payment Policies

No Refunds will be given if Team cancel the registration after Feb 15, 2026

 Remote Judging - The Team Interviews will be conducted remotely, and Engineering Notebooks will be submitted to judges electronically. Interviews and Notebook submission deadlines may be scheduled ahead of the event date.

Notebook submission deadline - Feb 26, 2026 - 6 pm EST

Teams will receive an email 2 weeks prior to the event with instructions on how to register for a remote interview, please make sure that the team completes the signup on time.  Remember the earlier you sign up the more likely you'll get the time you desire.
