The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.
For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Volontario
Always looking for volunteers. Contact the event coordinator. Most roles are easily trained in 10 mins or less. Shifts will be broken up into morning and afternoon shifts. Most shifts will be 2 hours (8a-12p, 1p-5p, etc).
If you know sign language, that is a big help, but not necessary!!!

Refund and Payment Policies
Meals - we will provide breakfast and lunch Tues-Thurs.
Dinners will be on your own each night.
Health and Safety Policies
Use common sense.
Follow the Code of Conduct at all times, even if not in the tournament. We are using a public property and your behaviors will be observed. Any damages determined to be done by you will result in you being responsible for paying its repairs or replacement. Additionally, your team will be removed from the Event itself for a serious breach of the Code of Conduct.
First aid will be available at the registration area. There is also an ER across the street from the competition/hotel area - see map. We will be able to help drive you over there if necessary.

Whose Responsibility?
You are responsible for getting here (whether you fly or drive).
Driving
If you drive, there is parking available and will be free of charge.
Flying
If you fly, fly into Colorado Springs airport (COS) on April 21.
As soon as you know your flight arrival time in COS, please let us know. We are currently working on transportation options from the CS airport to GWL. Check back here for more details. You are welcome to fly into Denver airport, but we will be unable to pick you up. It is about 1 hour drive from there.
If you depart on the 24th, please schedule your flight to be 10am or later. If you book it earlier, we cannot gaurantee a ride for you and you may have to arrange your own transportation.

Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents.
