Please join us for the Maryland VIQRC Mix and Match 2026 Championship for Middle School in Hagerstown, MD. This VIQRC tournament is open to qualifying VEX IQ Competition Middle School teams and will qualify teams for the World Championship.

If paying by check, please make payable to "South Hagerstown High School" and put Rebel Robotics on the memo line.  Please bring the check to the event (or email for mailing address).

* Later start time to accommodate the running of 2 events (ES and MS) on the same day.

Doors to the venue will actually be open at 8 AM for the ES State tournament.

8:30 AM - Doors open

8:40 AM - Check in and Inspection opens

All teams need to be checked in by 9:15 AM

9:45 AM - Event Meeting

10:15 AM – 12:30 Qualifier Matches

12:30 - 1:00 PM - Lunch Break

1:00 - 4:00 PM Qualifier Matches

4:10 PM - Finals (5 alliances - Top 10 teams in ranking)

4:30 PM - Awards

4:45 – Cleanup

Volunteers make robotics tournaments possible and are essential for providing these STEM learning opportunities for our friends and family. Please consider volunteering to help make this event a success.

Please note that the following volunteer link is for BOTH the ES and MS state IQ tournaments. The two tournaments will be held at South Hagerstown High School on Feb 28, 2026 in different locations in the building on slightly staggered timeframes.

In the event of impending bad weather, Rebel Robotics will work with the school administration to determine if the event can be held on the regularly scheduled day and time. In the case of bad weather, the first choice will be to keep the event on the same day and alter the schedule. Updates will be provided via email and posted to the event webpage on RobotEvents.com.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the event is cancelled, teams will be given a full refund. Teams that drop out will be given a 50% refund if notified within two weeks of the event. Refunds are less the $5.00 RECF processing fee.

Health and Safety Policies

In an effort to keep everyone safe and healthy, please do not attend the tournament if you are not feeling well.

Buses and vehicles with trailers and/or equipment can turn to the right at the end of the drive to unload students and equipment in front of the main doors.  There is also plenty of parking for the buses and parents!

Vērtēšanas formāts

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
