Please join us for the 2026 MS V5RC Maryland State Robotics Tournament at the University of Maryland Ritchie Coliseum in College Park, MD. This VEX V5RC tournament is open to Middle School teams who have recieved an invitation to the Maryland State Championship. If the event is full, please add your team to the Waiting List. If the event is not full, but the registration deadline has passed and you would still like to attend, please email us. 

This event qualifies teams for the MS V5RC World Championship. 

Lunch and snacks will be available for purchase.

If paying by check, please make payable to South Hagerstown High School and put Robotics on the memo line.  Please bring the check to the event (or email for mailing address).

8:00 Doors open

8:30 - 9:30 Registration, Inspection, Practice

9:30- 9:45 Welcome and Event meeting

9:45 - 12:00 Qualification matches

9:45 Skills Field Open (until the end of qualification matches)

12:00 - 12:45 Lunch

1:00 – 2:30 Qualification matches (tentative)

2:30 - 2:45 Alliance Selection

3:00 - 4:00 Finals

Clean-up - any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Our goal is to keep to the event schedule.  Matches will start without robots if you fail to show up at the queue on time.

Volunteers make robotics tournaments possible and are essential for providing these STEM learning opportunities for our friends and family. Please consider volunteering to help make this event a success. Full-day volunteers will be provided a complimentary lunch. Ārkārtas situāciju/sliktu laikapstākļu politika

In the event of impending bad weather, we will work with University of MD facilities to determine if the event can be held on the regularly scheduled day and time. In the case of bad weather, the first choice will be to keep the event on the same day and alter the schedule. Updates will be provided via email and posted to the event webpage on RobotEvents.com.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the event is cancelled, teams will be given a full refund. Teams that drop out will be given a 50% refund if notified prior to one week of the event. Refunds are less the $5.00 RECF processing fee.

Health and Safety Policies

In an effort to keep everyone safe and healthy, please do not attend the tournament if you are not feeling well.

In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
