Welcome to Brighton High's 2027 VEX V5 Robotic Competition "Override

While the Admission is Free to all spectators, we need volunteers, like yourself ,to help make this event successful. Please communicate with your teams that there is an expectation of at least 1 volunteer per registered team. There are plenty of jobs available that will keep you in the gym where the events are taking place. There will be a form on-line for you and a friend to sign-up.

All team members and adults must have the Global waiver completed. Use this link: https://events.vex.com/consent for instructions.

Payment is due two weeks after a team is registered unless other arrangements are made with the EP. All teams not paid after two weeks of registration will be moved to the waitlist and maya be added back in, if there is still room on the roster. If your registration payment process takes longer than two weeks, communication with the EP will keep teams from being moved to the waitlist.

Please share the Volunteer sign-up link with your team's families and others in our VEX community. We are family and could use a helping hand. Reminder, we do have jobs in the area where the matches are being played.

In the event that an emergency arises or inclement weather threatens to affect the tournament, email notifications will be sent. We will not be hasty in our decisions but safety will be our #1 concern. We have alot of people/teams that come from out -of- town to participate and volunteer their time.

If the Event Partner cancels the event:

Refunds will be issued if event is cancelled by the EP.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Refunds will not be issued.

all registrations must be paid in full two weeks after team is registered, or immediately if after January 23, 2027, unless other arrangements have been made with EP. Unpaid teams may be removed to the Waitlist two weeks after registration and may be added back in If there is room on the roster. If your registration payment process takes longer than two weeks, clear communication will keep teams from being moved to the Waitlist.

Teams that have not paid registration fees for past events will be immediately moved to the waitlist until those registration fees are paid and may be added back in IF there is room on the roster.

Format oceny

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges..
