Welcome to Miller Grove School! We are excited to host your team for a day of competition, collaboration, and VEX Robotics fun. Thank you for registering and allowing your students to compete with us.
Miller Grove is a small, rural, student-centered community. Please note that there are no nearby restaurants, convenience stores, or gas stations. A full concession stand will be available throughout the event, with food, snacks, and drinks for purchase. Payment information and meal options will be provided before the event.

The school is located near the intersection of FM 275 and FM 1567. GPS may direct you to the high school or main gym. The competition will be held in the Multi-Purpose Building. Additional parking and entrance instructions will be included in the team welcome email.

Doors open: 7:30am

Skill runs: The skills field is first come, first serve. The field opens at 7:30 (once a team has passed inspection). Please be patient. The robot must be present to be in the skills line. Teams without a robot will be asked to move out of line.
Drivers Meeting: 8:45am
Qualifying Matches: 9:00-12:00pm
Lunch: 12:00pm-1:00pm
Qualifying matches resume at 1:00pm and run until all matches are finished.
Skills will close once the last qualifying match has been scored. Teams in line will not be given the chance to run once the last match is scored.
Alliance Selection: 2:15pm
Eliminations: 2:30pm- until finished
Awards: 4:00pm
Closing Remarks: 4:30pm
Dismissal: 4:45pm

Running an event takes many volunteers. We are always in need of volunteers to assist the day of the event. Lunches are provided for all volunteers in addition to drinks and snacks the day of the event. Volunteers for the event will need to arrive between 7:00am-7:30pm and remain until the end of the event which we will aim for no later than 5:00pm.
Volunteers for the judge's role varies by program. Minimum age per event: VEX IQ 18+, VEX V5 20+, VEX AIR 21+. https://library.globalrobotics.org/hc/en-us/articles/50474499381268-Glossary-of-Terms#j-header-10
Field reset volunteers are needed and can range from upper elementary (6th grade) to adult age.
Scorekeeper Referee are needed and may be a volunteer who tracks scoring and identifies rule violations. They report to the Head Referee. https://library.globalrobotics.org/hc/en-us/articles/50474499381268-Glossary-of-Terms#s-header-18
Head Referee is a certified volunteer responsible for officiating at an event: enforcing the game rules, making final rulings on scoring and rule violations, and overseeing the scorekeeper referees.

Política de Emergência/Condições Climáticas Adversas
If the event must be rescheduled because of severe weather, an emergency, or another circumstance outside of the Event Host's control, all registrations will automatically transfer to a new date. Lead contact for the attending teams will be contacted as soon as a new date is provided. Teams that choose not to attend on the rescheduled date will need to follow the refund request policy.

If the Event Partner cancels the event: All refunds must be submitted directly to the Event Host and include the following:
Event Name
Team Number
School or Organization Name
Coach or Primary contact's name, email, and phone number
Reason for withdrawal.
If Miller Grove cancels the event and it cannot be rescheduled, the registration fee is refundable after Miller Grove recieves the team's payment.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: Teams requesting to withdraw must notify the Event Host in writing.
If written notice is received at least 14 calendar days before the event, the registration is refundable.
If notice is received fewer than 14 calender days before the event, no refund will be issued.
Teams that register but do not attend will not receive a refund, and any unpaid registration balance will remain due.
Please note, refunds cannot be processed until Miller Grove has received the team's registration payment. Processing time may very depending on school or Event Host's accounting procedures.
By registering for a Miller Grove VEX Robotics event, the team's coach or primary contact confirms that they have read and accepted this Refund and Payment Policy.
Formato de Julgamento
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
Engineering Notebooks can be submitted in person the day of the event to be evaluated by judges. Engineering notebooks can also be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
