We are excited to welcome teams to our VEX Robotics Competition! This event will provide students with an opportunity to showcase their engineering, programming, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while competing with teams from across the area.

Teams should arrive on time and be prepared for check-in and robot inspection prior to the start of qualification matches. Please bring all necessary robots, controllers, batteries, chargers, tools, and other team equipment.

Coaches, team members, volunteers, and spectators are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship and follow all VEX Robotics competition rules and event staff instructions throughout the day.

Additional event details, including the final schedule and any important updates, will be communicated to registered teams prior to the competition.

Volunteers are essential to making our VEX Robotics event a success! We welcome parents, teachers, students, community members, and industry professionals who would like to help support our teams and competitors.

Volunteer opportunities may include event check-in, field reset, queuing, judging, scorekeeping, refereeing, concessions, and other event support roles. No prior robotics experience is required for many positions, and instructions or training will be provided as needed.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the Event Partner for additional information. Thank you for helping us provide a positive and exciting competition experience for our students!

Política de Emergência/Condições Climáticas Adversas

The safety of our teams, volunteers, and spectators is our highest priority. In the event of severe weather or another emergency, all participants should follow the directions of event staff and facility personnel.

If severe weather or unsafe travel conditions require the event to be delayed, canceled, or rescheduled, registered teams will be notified as soon as possible through the contact information provided during registration.

During the event, participants will follow the host facility’s emergency procedures for severe weather, fire, evacuation, shelter-in-place, or other emergencies. Please keep aisles and emergency exits clear at all times.

Teams traveling to the event should use their best judgment regarding local road and weather conditions. No team should travel when conditions are considered unsafe.

Políticas de reembolso e pagamento

If the Event Partner cancels the event:

Event registration fees must be paid by the payment deadline listed on the event registration page. Teams with unpaid registration fees after the deadline may be removed from the event to allow teams on the waitlist to participate.

Registration fees are non-refundable after the payment deadline. Refund requests submitted prior to the payment deadline will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

If the event is canceled by the Event Partner and cannot be rescheduled, registered teams will receive information regarding available refunds or credits.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Teams that choose not to attend due to scheduling conflicts, travel issues, or other circumstances after the refund deadline will not be eligible for a refund.

Please contact the Event Partner with any questions regarding registration fees, payments, or refunds.

Health and Safety Policies

The safety of all students, coaches, volunteers, and spectators is a priority at this event. Participants are expected to follow all venue and VEX Robotics safety rules.

Safety glasses are required when working with tools or equipment that may produce flying debris. Closed-toe shoes are recommended in competition and pit areas. Teams must keep pit areas and walkways clean and free of trip hazards.

Robots must be powered off before making repairs or adjustments whenever possible. Batteries must be inspected, charged, and handled according to manufacturer guidelines. Damaged, swollen, or overheated batteries must be removed from use and reported to event staff immediately.

Participants should walk at all times, use tools appropriately, and follow instructions from event officials. Any injury, unsafe condition, or safety concern should be reported immediately to event staff.

Emergency exits and walkways must remain clear at all times. In the event of an emergency or severe weather, participants must follow the directions of event and facility personnel.
