7:30am - Volunteers/Event Staff may begin arriving (no teams)

8:15am - Doors Open for Teams and Students, Pracitce Field Opens

9:45am - Opening / Drivers Meeting

10:00am - Matches Begin, Skills Field Opens

12:00pm - 12:45pm - Lunch (On your Own), Skills Field remains open

12:45pm - Matches Resume

2:15pm - Matches End, Skills Field Closes

2:30pm - Alliance Selection (minimum of 16 Teams Qualify)

2:45pm - Elimination Matches Begin

3:00pm - Practice Field Closes

3:30pm - 3:45pm - Closing / Awards

4:00pm - Cleanup / Venue Closes

Events like these always need volunteers and these events do not run without their help. If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the Sign Up at this link and we will reach out to you. No experience is needed and we provide training if required! 

Volunteers are needed for everything from concessions to registration (parents) as well as referees and judges (non-parent, must be as HS graduate). If you are interested, please check out the link below!

Política de Emergência/Condições Climáticas Adversas

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

If we have inclement weather, the event will run as schedules unless we receive notice from Washington Country Public Schools. If that causes the event to be cancelled, we will refund teams that cannot attend a make-up event. If the event is cancelled/postponed notice will be posted here and emailed to all registered teams as soon as feasible. 

If possible, we will have a make-up date and communicate that as soon as possible, the EP will refund the team if your team cannot attend the makeup date.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

We will refund the team if the team cancels at least 14 days before the event.  We need the time to contact the next team waiting and complete their registration.

We will follow all applicable Washington County Public Schools Health and Safety Policies, procedures, and recommendations.

Informações de viagem

Northern MS is located on Northern Ave in Hagerstown and is easily accessible via I-81 and/or US11. Pleast note: Due to multiple events ocurring at NMS, parking will be limited. Carpooling is encouraged. Please follow signs and volunteers to appropriate unloading and/or parking spots. Parking in the main bus loop is NOT PERMITTED at any time. Only buses may use the loop to unload. School buses will be directed to park offiste at Fountaindale Elementary (0.35 mi away).

Formato de Julgamento

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
