We are excited to extend an exclusive invitation to you to participate in the Robolabs VEX AI Summer Academy at UC Berkeley, from July 12th to 18th, 2026. This immersive program offers students the unique opportunity to explore cutting-edge robotics and AI while experiencing life on one of the world’s top university campuses.

Participants will stay in UC Berkeley dorms, dine on campus, and engage in hands-on workshops covering advanced topics such as computer vision, neural networks, 3D printing, AI object detection, and advanced robotics design. Using state-of-the-art technology, including Intel RealSense cameras and NVIDIA Jetson processors, students will build and program sophisticated robotic systems.

In addition to academic experiences, students will also have the opportunity to explore San Francisco and Silicon Valley, meeting UC Berkeley staff and soaking in the innovative atmosphere of the Bay Area.

This week-long program is ideal for students passionate about AI and robotics, offering them valuable skills in mechanical design, CAD, Programming, and control systems that will prepare them for future success in STEM fields

Bad weather should not affect this event. In case of a cancellation, the event partner will contact you as early as possible. Students should make sure their contact information in Robotevents.com is up to date and includes both school and non-school phone numbers.

Refund and Payment Policies

Teams who have registered but have not paid or submitted a PO 4-weeks prior to the event will be removed from the event unless special arrangement has been made with the Event Partner.

No refund will be provided as organization incurs expenses upfront to organize the event.

If the event is canceled, a full event registration (minus $5) refund will be given to all paid teams.

Students are responsible for their own transportation.

Health and Safety Policies

We highly encourage everyone to avoid coming into the facility if you are not feeling well and follow all commonly expected safety and health precautions.
