Please join us for the 2026 HS V5RC Maryland State Robotics Tournament at the

University of Maryland Ritchie Coliseum in College Park, MD. This VEX V5RC tournament is open to High School teams who have recieved an invitation to the Maryland State Championship. If the event is full, please add your team to the Waiting List. If the event is not full, but the registration deadline has passed and you would still like to attend, please email us. 

This event qualifies teams for the HS V5RC World Championship. 

Lunch and snacks will be available for purchase.

If paying by check, please make payable to Dulaney High School and put Robotics on the memo line.  Please bring the check to the event (or email for mailing address).

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Volunteers make robotics tournaments possible and are essential for providing these STEM learning opportunities for our friends and family. Please consider volunteering to help make this event a success. Full-day volunteers will be provided a complimentary lunch. In the event of impending bad weather, we will work with University of MD facilities to determine if the event can be held on the regularly scheduled day and time. In the case of bad weather, the first choice will be to keep the event on the same day and alter the schedule. Updates will be provided via email and posted to the event webpage on RobotEvents.com.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the event is cancelled, teams will be given a full refund. Teams that drop out will be given a 50% refund if notified prior to one week of the event. Refunds are less the $5.00 RECF processing fee.

Health and Safety Policies

In an effort to keep everyone safe and healthy, please do not attend the tournament if you are not feeling well.

In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
