What:

This is a 8 day summer camp for students and coaches new to the V5 Vex robotics competition platform. We will be learning about how to navigate the competition, log books, solid bulding strategies, programming, and we will have an internal competition on the last day for friends and families to see. 

New Coaches: We have a great program for you to learn how to start your program or step into an established program and blast off to success.

Lunch will be provided by the summer lunch program, students are welcome to bring a sack lunch. Special dietary needs cannot be met.

Each day will consist of alot of fun and alot of work! Come ready to beat the heat in robot fashion.

When:

Doors will open at 7:45 we will start promptly at 8AM. Doors remained locked to the outside throughout the day. If you are late, you must contact me when you arrive to gain entrance.

We do not meet on Fridays!

Where:

Attire:

Students must wear lab appropriate attire. safety glasses and closed toe shoes. 

Restrictions; There will be time that cell phone use is restricted. During active camp time students may use their devices to capture images for their log books or answer an emergency call from their parents.

Behavior Policy: RECF Code of Conduct strictly enforced. Students and parents will only receive one warning before the student is released from the camp with no refund.

Inclusivity Statement:

While we are all inclusive and students with disabilities are welcome, the expectation is that the student can safely participate at the middle school level without individual assistance. We will have a 1:5 student counselor to camper ratio and 1:30 Staff supervision.
