Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Agenda

8:00 – 9:15am Doors Open, Sign In, Inspection, Judging begins

9:30am - Drivers Meeting
10:00am - 12:00pm - Qualification Rounds, Skills Field open
12:00pm - 1:00pm - Lunch
1:00pm - 2:30 pm  - Qualification Rounds, Skills Field open
2:30pm OR when last qualification match BEGINS, whichever is first, SKILLS field closes
       - Teams in line will NOT be permitted to run skills after this time
2:45pm - Alliance Selection
3:00pm - 4:30pm Elimination Rounds & Awards

If you are interested in volunteering for this event, you must be attending NSBE's 2025 Annual Convention in Chicago, IL.

Non Convention attendees are not allowed to volunteer.

Acil Durum/Kötü Hava Koşulları Politikası

If the 2025 Annual Convention is cancelled due to bad weather, all teams will be alerted through official NSBE channels.

Refund and Payment Policies

This event is FREE to registered and active NSBE Jr Chapters.

• All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
