Welcome to the European Open Andorra
- Telecom Grand Prix Pyreenes -
This is the third edition of an international tournament that aims to give more opportunities to European teams to participate in different tournaments to motivate the participants and to improve their projects.
Event is open for all European teams!
This tournament is sponsored by the Andorra Telephone Company Andorra Telecom.
There are two distinct tournaments in this multifaceted event. This is the V5 - Middle & High School Tournament. If you are looking for the VEX VIQRC tournaments (Elementary & Middle School), please return to the main RobotEvents page and select the proper tournament.
Engineering Notebook
ALL teams are strongly encouraged to submit a digital engineering notebook. These will be reviewed via a digital copy you can submit on your Team Account on RobotEvents.com. A review of your engineering notebook will be the first step in potentially earning the Design Award.
Due one week before the tournament.

REC Participant Release Forms (found HERE) will be required.

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Due to the nature of scheduling an event of this size there is no viable way to have contigency dates due to weather and weather related events.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
In the event that the Event Partner cancels the competition, all registered teams will be notified as soon as possible with information and all requests for refunds must be made in writing via email.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
The deadline to request a return will be February 28, 2026. The management costs will be deducted from the amount to be returned.

Travel Information
For visitors from other countries and far-flung destinations, flying is a great option for getting to Andorra. There are transport connections to all of the main airports in our vicinity, with the largest being Barcelona Airport (located some 200 kilometres from Andorra).
The Directbus line connecting Andorra to Barcelona Airport boasts a high frequency of departures throughout the year, in both directions. Additionally, the Directbus always stops at Sants bus station in Barcelona city. The journey between Andorra and Barcelona Airport is approximately 3.5 hours.
Directbus stops at both terminals in Barcelona Airport. At Terminal 1, the arrival and departure point is the Arrivals area on the ground floor; and at Terminal 2, the arrival and departure point is next to the Bloc Tècnic building (between terminals 2B and 2C). En route, and as mentioned above, the bus also stops at Sants bus station in Barcelona city. In Andorra, the arrival and departure point is the National Bus Station on Carrer de la Cúria s/n in Andorra la Vella, close to the city centre, from where taxi services are readily available.
To travel from Barcelona Airport to Andorra, you can travel with the BUS DIRECT company. In the following link you can find all the information.

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should submitting a digital notebook. Please ensure that it is loaded up on their Robot Events profile beforehand, and that all links are working and "live" at the time the event commences, or alternatively bring along a QR Code with the notebook linked. Please DO NOT print a digital notebook.
