志愿者
These events are all volunteer run, please aim to lend one volunteer for each team you are registering. Lots of opportunities big and small. Check out the RECF Volunteer Roles Overview for details.
The hardest role to fill is typically Judge. Be assured that technical backgrounds are useful but not required. Being a Judge is a great way to meet some of the students and understand the hard work they put in to produce their robots.
Please use this sign up to volunteer.

判断格式
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
Note: Judging will be stationed in a specific area. Teams will report to the judges with all team members and their robot present. Teams which do not complete an interview will not be elligible for a judged award.
How to Qualify
Only Texas Region 4 teams may qualify for the championship. Teams must qualify to register for the event.
Registration is on a first come first serve basis, so make sure to register ASAP!
Teams qualify by one of two ways:
1) Competing at a qualifying region 4 tournament and winning the Tournament Champions, Excellence, or Design Award.
2) Being pulled from the region skills rankings two weeks before the Region 4 Championship to fill the remaining open spots.
Note: If a team double-qualifies or wins a Region 4 Championship spot, the spot will then go to the next highest team in the skills ranking for the event.
