Event Description
The VEX Robotics World Championship will take place April 25-27, 2026 at the America's Center in St. Louis. The annual event brings together the top VEX IQ Robotics Competition, VEX V5 Robotics Competition, and VEX U Robotics Competition teams from around the globe to celebrate their accomplishments and participate in the 2025-2026 games to be crowned champions.
Teams will compete in the 2025-2026 VEX V5 Robotics Competition: Push Back to earn a spot at this prestigious event.

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Teams will be notified via email if any event occurs that would jeopardize the VEX Robotics World Championship.
Refund and Payment Policies
All teams must be marked “paid” (funds fully received) by March 31, 2026. Note: In order to be "paid in full" by the deadline, complete payment of registration fees must be received by the RECF Accounting Department.
VEX Robotics World Championship registration cancellations must be received by 5:00 PM, CT, on April 4, 2026, in order to receive a full refund. All cancellations must be emailed to [email protected] with the team number and the contact information for the team. Teams that cancel after 5:00 PM, CT, on April 4, 2026, will not receive a refund for their registration fee.
Note: In order to be "paid in full" by the registration deadline, complete payment of registration fees must be received by the RECF Accounting Department.

We are excited you will be attending the 2026 VEX Robotics World Championship!
All attendees are REQUIRED to book their hotel accommodations through Orchid, the Official Housing Company for the VEX Robotics World Championship. Your spot to Worlds is not guaranteed until your team's registration order for Worlds in RobotEvents includes an authorized hotel confirmation from the block. Booking outside of the Orchid hotel blocks is not authorized, and you risk losing your Worlds spot if your hotel is not confirmed and verified through RobotEvents. You must book lodging through Orchid in order to participate in the 2026 VEX Robotics World Championship.

Note: When planning travel dates/times, keep in the mind the following:
- Teams should arrive at the venue by 8AM on their first day of competition.
- Teams must depart after closing ceremonies.

Waiting List FAQ
Teams are selected at random from the VEX Robotics World Championship waitlist. By placing a team on the waitlist, the Primary Coach acknowledges that the team is deserving of an invitation if offered. Invitations cannot be transfered to other teams within the organization. Teams being invited from the waitlist will have 48 hours or less from the time their invitation is sent by RobotEvents.com. Invitations that expire may not be reissued.

Waitlist invitations will begin on Wednesday, March 18th at 10AM CT. If futher waitlist rounds are needed, invitations will be issued on:
- Monday, March 23 - 10AM CT
- Thursday, March 26 - 10AM CT
- Monday, March 30 - 10AM CT - (CANCELLED/NOT NEEDED)
