A Thanksgiving Turkey's Guide to Thanksgiving Fork Lift at T-Rex Fitness Center

7:30 AM – The Coop Opens!
Gobble, gobble! Welcome to Thanksgiving Fork Lift at the T-Rex Fitness Center! I'm your friendly Thanksgiving turkey, and I'm thankful to see so many amazing teams arriving. Lucky for me, today everyone's lifting robots instead of serving turkey!

8:00–9:00 AM – Check-In, Inspection & Practice
Waddle on over and get your team checked in! Let the inspectors admire your incredible robot, take some practice runs, and squeeze in a few skills attempts. It's time to stretch those robot muscles before the big day gets cooking!

8:30 AM – Team Check-In Deadline
Don't be the turkey that's late to dinner! Make sure your team is checked in by 8:30 AM so we can keep the gravy flowing and the matches on schedule.

8:45 AM – Coaches Meeting
Coaches, gather around the table! We'll talk strategy, answer questions, and make sure everyone is ready for a day stuffed with teamwork and fun.

9:00 AM – Drivers Meeting
Robot drivers, this one's for you! Come hear everything you need to know before you hit the field. Stay focused, stay calm, and don't let your robot get its feathers ruffled!

9:15 AM – Opening Ceremony
Let's officially kick off Thanksgiving Fork Lift! We'll welcome everyone, thank our hosts at the T-Rex Fitness Center, and get ready for an incredible day of robotics.

9:30 AM – Qualification Matches & Skills Begin
Gobble GO! Robots are rolling, alliances are forming, fans are cheering, and the competition is heating up faster than an oven on Thanksgiving morning!

11:30 AM – Lunch Break for Judges & Skills Referees
Even the hardest-working flock needs a chance to refuel! Our judges and referees will enjoy a well-earned break before returning for the afternoon action.

12:00 PM – Team Lunch
Time to fill your plate! I recommend everything except turkey...for reasons that should be pretty obvious. Eat well, recharge, and get ready for another helping of robot action!

12:45 PM – Competition Resumes
Back to the feast! More qualification matches, more skills runs, and more chances to show off everything your team has built. Leave it all on the field!

2:30 PM – Finals & Awards
This is the gravy on top! Our final matches will decide the champions, and then we'll celebrate everyone's accomplishments with awards. Whether you take home a trophy or not, you've all made this turkey proud.

3:00 PM – Cleanup & Safe Travels
Every Thanksgiving gathering has to end sometime. Pack up your robots, leave your pit area cleaner than you found it, thank our volunteers and hosts at the T-Rex Fitness Center, and travel home safely. Thanks for making Thanksgiving Fork Lift a day worth gobbling about!

One Last Gobble from Your Favorite Turkey...

Just like Thanksgiving dinner, sometimes things don't go exactly as planned. A robot may decide to wander off course, a computer might need a little extra stuffing, or we may adjust the schedule to keep everything running smoothly.

Whatever happens, remember what Thanksgiving is all about—being grateful, helping one another, and enjoying time together. Cheer for every team, thank the volunteers, and have an amazing time at Thanksgiving Fork Lift.

Inclement Weather & Refund Policy

In the event of inclement weather, we will notify all registered teams as soon as possible, with every effort made to communicate any changes the evening before the competition.

If the competition is held as scheduled and a team chooses not to attend for any reason, including weather concerns, illness, or travel issues, registration fees are non-refundable.

If severe weather or other unforeseen circumstances require the organizers to cancel or postpone the event, registered teams will be notified promptly. Any refunds or event credits will be handled in accordance with Global Robotics event policies. The event organizers are not responsible for travel, lodging, or other expenses incurred by participating teams.

If the Event Partner cancels the event:
If the Event Partner must cancel the event due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, registered teams will be notified as soon as possible, with every effort made to communicate any changes the evening before the competition. Any refunds or event credits will be handled in accordance with Global Robotics event policies. The Event Partner is not responsible for travel, lodging, or other expenses incurred by participating teams.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
If a Coach/Mentor registers a team for the event and later chooses to withdraw or not attend, registration fees are non-refundable if the event is still being held as scheduled. This includes decisions not to attend due to weather concerns, illness, scheduling conflicts, travel issues, or other circumstances affecting the individual team.
