Welcome to Magikid VEX IQ Tournament #3 in 2026-2027 Season!

Happy Lunar New Year! 

Magikid Robotics Lab Redmond is proud to host another exciting VEX IQ tournament for the current competition season. As an experienced Event Partner, our goal is to provide a professional, organized, and enjoyable competition experience for all participating students, coaches, parents, and volunteers.

Our organization has practical experience running VEX IQ events and coaching competitive teams. We understand the importance of creating a fair, efficient, and student-centered environment where teams can showcase their engineering, programming, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

What to Expect

  • Efficient team check-in and robot inspection process

  • Friendly event management and volunteer staff

  • 3 teamwork competition fields, 2 skill challenge fields, and 3 practice fields to support efficient match schedules

  • Judging conducted in accordance with Global Robotics & Science Foundation guidelines (if applicable)

  • Teams are volunteering to make the judge interviews

  • Clear communication throughout the event

  • A welcoming atmosphere that promotes learning, teamwork, and gracious professionalism

Team Preparation

Teams are encouraged to:

  • Review the most updated Game Manual before the event.

  • Ensure their robots comply with all inspection requirements.

  • Submit the engineering notebooks at least 4 calendar days before the event.

  • Bring fully charged batteries, controllers, and any necessary spare parts.

  • Arrive on time to complete check-in and inspection before qualification matches begin.

Spectators

Parents, family members, and friends are welcome to attend and support participating teams. We ask all spectators to respect event staff, volunteers, and competition procedures to help create a positive experience for everyone.

Food and Refreshments

  • Please DON'T bring any nuts to avoid any unexpected food allergies.
  • Please clean up your team's table and arrounding area before you leave.
  • The trash collection in the facility is limited. Please collect your trash as much as possible. 

Event Updates

Important announcements, schedules, and event updates will be posted on the event page. Coaches should monitor the event page regularly before the tournament.

We appreciate your participation and look forward to providing an outstanding competition experience. Thank you for supporting STEM education and the VEX IQ Robotics program.

  • Referee for the Teamwork Match and Skill Challenge
  • Queue Management for Teamwork Match and Skill Challenge

緊急/惡劣天氣政策

Bad weather should not affect this event. In case of a cancellation, the event partner will contact you as early as possible. Teams should make sure their contact information in events.vex.com is up to date. Please give us a call 425-766-4343 if you have any concerns about the weather. 

退款和付款政策

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Full refunds will be processed to all registered teams. 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Full refund will be available if cancelled at least 14 calendar days before the event date. 

No refund available if cancelled 14 calendar days or less before the event date.

Health and Safety Policies

To be responsible to everyone's health, if anyone from the team, coaches or parents is sick, please don't come to this event. 

Please ware a mask if you have concerns to join this event. We will prepare some masks for those visitors who feel uncomfortable. 

Please remind kids to wash their hands during the event.

The entrance of our event is the South East gate of the church building. There are lots of parking spaces. 

評審方式

Please review the following Judging Format options and keep the ones that apply to your event, and delete the others that do not apply.

  • Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. A submission deadline is 4 calendar days before the event date.
