Dear Teams,
Del Valle High School Robotics is excited to host our VEX Robotics High Stakes V5 Tournament! We’re looking forward to an exciting day of competition, collaboration, and innovation.
Here are the event details:
- The tournament will feature two competition fields, a skills field, and a practice field to give all teams the chance to compete and refine their strategies.
- There are 32 slots available for this tournament, with a maximum of 4 teams per organization. Please make sure your team is marked as paid (or PO received) two weeks in advance. Teams not paid by this deadline may be replaced by teams on the waitlist.
- Check-in will be at 7:30 AM, sharp. All teams must be checked in 60 minutes before the start of the qualification matches to allow time for the match schedule to be printed. If your team is running late, please contact the event partner, or you may be removed from the event.
- Teams must be paid by January 11th . Teams not paid by this date will be moved to the waiting list.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
If the event must be canceled due to bad weather, it will be rescheduled for the next acceptable date.
No refunds.
No team swaps two weeks before the event.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
All Monies will be refunded.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event and then chooses to withdraw or not attend, There is no refund. However, the event partner will do their best to accommodate moving the team to another event they are hosting. Event Partner will only allow for one date change.

Judging Format
- Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
