General Info

Welcome to ACAMIS South Regionals for the VEX V5 High Stakes!  We are excited to welcome teams across our region to Utahloy International School Guangzhou! We are looking forward to a great day of competition and meeting new people interested in VEX Robotics. Be prepared with batteries, chargers, and any additional spare parts needed for the competition.

Please read each of the following. Each of these will be adhered to with no exceptions.

  • All attendees are expected to abide by the code of conduct 

    • Although we don’t expect any violations during the tournament, the EP reserves the right to disqualify any person(s) and ask perpetrators to leave the premises.

We request that any team that would like to be considered for Judged Awards, such as Excellence, Design, Innovate, Think or Create, submit a physical copy of their Engineering Notebook to the judges during interviews.

In the event of bad weather or emergency, all parties will be notified via email and/or phone as soon as possible

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

No Refunds.

Judging Format

 

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
