General Info
South High Robotics is delighted to be hosting this VEX V5 Robotics League. This League will qualify teams to Massachusetts State Championships. Our event will be held at South High Community School, Worcester, MA 01603
The meet dates for the league are:
- Qualifying meet 1 - Nov. 20th
- Qualifying meet 2 - December 11th
- Qualifying meet 3 - January 8th (HOSTED AT BANCROFT SCHOOL!)
- Elimination/Finals meet - January 29th
Our event will be held in the school cafeteria. The School Cafeteria will act as the pits and as the competition area. Each team will be given half of a standard school cafeteria table as a pit. Power strips will be available for charging batteries along the sides of the cafeteria, but each team will only be alotted 1 outlet, so teams should bring additional power strips to charge multiple batteries at once. Teams will not have power available at their pit table.
Ample parking is available on site. Teams and those with limited mobility should use the driveway to unload. Handicap spots are in the front of the building.
Light snacks will be provided to all teams in attendance. Coaches should coordinate with the event partner if they wish to collaborate on providing dinner.
An on-site concession stand will be available for those wishing to purchase light snacks during the day.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
If venue is closed due to bad weather or any situation outside our immediate control and the event can not be rescheduled, refunds, minus event costs, will be issued within two months of event date.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
No refunds will be made after Registration closes, if team withdraws from event prior to registration closing, full refund will be issued within two months of event date.
Teams with unpaid balances on RobotEvents.com: will be placed on the waitlist the week prior to event, unless they have made payment arrangements with the Event Partner.
All refunds will be minus the $5 administrative fee retained by RECF.
