General Info

Tournament - St Peter's College

This is a 16 Team Tournament, and will be a blended event meaning that both Middle School and High School teams will be competing. 

  • Skills will be offered at this event - Skills will run from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM (unless finished earlier) Teams can commence skills runs once their robot has passed inspection)
  • There will be no Judging at this event.

As this event is the final competition of the season, all teams that register will initially be placed on the waitlist. Once registration closes, teams will be accepted in order of competition experience: Teams with no prior competition attendance will be added first. Teams with one event attended will be added next. Teams with multiple events will be added as space allows. This process ensures that new teams have the opportunity to participate before the season concludes.

Agenda

Agenda (Agenda is subject to change, teams will be notified of any changes however start and end times will remain the same)

8:30 AM - Teams Registration and Begin Robot Inspection

(Once schools arrive they should move straight to their pit location and attend robot inspection)

9:00 AM - Skills Field Opens (Skills Field will close at 11:00 AM and teams will be able to commence skills once robot inspection has been passed

10:45  AM - Robot Skills Closes

11:00 AM - Qualifying Events Commence

1:00 PM - Lunch Break

1:30 PM - Finals Begin

2:00 PM - Awards and Closing Remarks

2:30 PM - Event Concludes

Judging Format

Please review the following Judging Format options and keep the ones that apply to your event, and delete the others that do not apply.

  • No Judging
  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
  •  All Remote Judging - The Initial Team Interviews will be conducted remotely, and Engineering Notebooks will be submitted to judges digitally via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact.  Initial Interviews and Notebook submission deadlines may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
  • Remote Initial Team Interviews / In-Person Engineering Notebooks: Initial Team Interviews will be conducted remotely, possibly before the date of the event. Engineering Notebooks will still be submitted in person the day of the event to be evaluated by judges.
  •  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
