General Info

Join us on December 14th for a robotics tournament here in Paterson NJ. The number of registrations will determine whether or not our listed awards can help teams qualify for the state championship, so do spread the word.

This event will have in-person judging but will require digital notebooks to be submitted one week prior to the event day. Skils matches will also be offered.

Please be aware that our building has limited parking spots. On-street parking is also available, but further details will be shared closer to the event date.

We are still new to hosting tournaments, so experienced volunteers are highly appreciated.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

There is currently no inclement weather forecasted for the event date. If anything changes, teams will be notified accordingly.

Refund and Payment Policies

  • Payment in full or a valid purchase order in RobotEvents must be provided two weeks prior to the event. Teams without payment will not be allowed to participate.
  • Refunds will only be issued to teams requesting registration cancellation 14 or more days prior to the event AND if the spot is filled with another team.
  • No refunds will be given due to changes of date/time/venue/format due to weather or unforseen emergencies.
  • If the event is completely cancelled, partial refunds (less event partner expenses) will be processed by the event partner. The $5 Processing fee collected by the REC Foundation will be deducted from all refunds.  

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews:

Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact.

Notebook submission deadline: Monday January 12 2026, 11:59 PM EST.
