General Info
Holmes Eaglebot Robotics in conjunction with Monroe Robotics is delighted to host the 2026 VEX in the Valley Valentine Event, a VEX Push Back Tournament. The event will be open to 32 Middle and High school teams. Winning specific awards at this event will qualify teams to attend the California Region 4 Championship. This event will be limited to five teams per school. Once the event is full, a waiting list will be created for teams who were unable to register. This waiting list will also be available for you to sign up additional team, but precedence will be given to schools/organizations who are not yet registered. On-site parking is free.
Team Checik-in is planned to be open be at 7:30 am.
Teams must be checked in and inspected 45 minutes prior to the start of the qualification matches so that the match schedule may be printed. Teams must contact the event partner if they are running late or they will be removed from the team list for the event.
Teams must be paid three weeks prior to the event. Teams not paid at this time may be dropped at the event partner's discretion to allow teams in from the wait list.

** Skills is planned to be open from 7 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 13th as well. This is to help minimize foot traffic in the venue on Saturday. Teams must contact the Event Partner to inform them they will be coming on Friday.

In the case of bad weather conditions or possible cancellations, please visit the event on Robotevents.com where updates about the event status will be posted as needed. Please make sure your team contact information is up to date in RobotEvents.com in the event we need to contact your team.
Refund and Payment Policies
Event payments are expected when you register for this event and must be completed a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the event date. Unpaid teams will be removed from the event, allowing space for teams on the wait list. Due to the financial commitment on the part of the event venue, no refunds will be possible. Thank you for your understanding. It is essential that all teams check in before 8:00 am.

Judging Format
Digital Engineering Notebook with In-Person Interview Judging
Electronic Engineering Notebook submissions will take place a week and half before the event day to allow Judges to evaluate the notebooks ahead of the in-person event. Team Interviews will be conducted in-person at the Event.
Engineering Notebooks wiil due digitally by Tuesday February 3rd @ 5pm
