A celebration of creativity, teamwork, and engineering excellence - join us for an exciting day of innovation and friendly competition at the EPISD STEM Competition Center!
Event Details
Date: Friday, February 20th
Time: 7:30AM - 2:30PM
Location: STEM Competition Center, 1st Floor CCTE
Transportation Note (for EPISD Schools)
Tournaments will end promptly at 2:30PM due to district trasnportation blackout times. If you are departing after this time, you will need to wait until after 5:00PM for bus pickup.
Judging Information
Judging wil be conducted in-person, with engineering journals being submitted online. If you experience any issues submitting online, please contact the tournament event partners for assistance.
Important Reminders
• Ensure all students participation forms are submitted prior to the event.
• Arrive on time to help us stay on schedule.
• Verify your robot meets size specifications to speed up inspections.
• Follow the REC Foundation Code of Conduct at all times.
• Promote collaboration and teamwork - and most importantly, have fun!
Attendance
This event is open only to participants, coaches and volunteers. A live stream will be available for parents and guardians to watch the competition remotely.

In the unlikely event that an emergency/weather would force the event to be cancelled, all listed team coaches will be notified by provided email and phone as early as possible.

If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Refunds will be given.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
In the event that you need to cancel, please make sure to notify [email protected] and [email protected]. In order to receive a refund, you must cancel 1 week before the day of the tournament so that teams in the waitlist have sufficient time to make arrangments. If you registered and did not show, you will not receive a refund.

Judging Format
Please review the following Judging Format options and keep the ones that apply to your event, and delete the others that do not apply. Please see the Remote Judging section of the Guide to Judging for more information.
- Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
