General Info

The Western PA VEX VRC Championships will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025 at Clarion University of Pennsylvania in Tippin Gymnasium.

This Digital Welcome Package and Concessions menu will be provided the week prior to the event.

All Engineering Notebooks MUST be submitted DIGITALLY by midnight on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2025.

NOTEBOOKS MUST BE DIGITAL AND WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 22.

Agenda

MARCH 3, 2025 TENTATIVE AGENDA NOTES:

Our goal is to have a well-run and enjoyable event for all teams involved. We will be running two field sets with the goal of getting 8 Qualifying matches per team.

TEAM INSPECTIONS ARE GOING TO BE A CRITICAL PART OF THE DAY. Inspections will be from 8:30AM-9:30AM. If a robot is not inspected by 9:30, that team will not be included in the match schedule.

We simply will not inconvenience everyone who is involved to accomodate teams that are not prepared. Please take weather and other unknowns into account as you plan your day.

8AM - Doors Open

8:30-9:30 - Inspections

9:30-9:45 - Driver's Meeting

9:45-10:00 - Match Schedule Distribution and Begin Queuing

10:00-12:30 - Qualification Matches

12:30-1:00 - Lunch Break

1:00-1:15 - Reconvene and Begin Queuing

1:15-3:45 - Qualification Matches

3:45-4:15 - Alliance Selection

4:15-5:30 - Elimination Matches

5:30-6:00 - Award Presentation

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Student safety will be our #1 priority. We will communicate weather related concerns in the week prior to the event.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: Full refunds will be given.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: Event Partners discretion.

Judging Format

 

  • Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact.

All Engineering Notebooks MUST be submitted by midnight on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2025.
