General Info
This event will be hosted in the Senior Study Centre at Shore, located near the front gate on Blue St, North Sydney.
Due to limited space, we will ask that each organisation limit the number of coaches to 1 per two teams registered.
Visitor parking will be available under the Bishopsgate Basketball Courts. Please enter via Hunter Crescent, off William St.

Volunteer at the Shore V5RC Override Tournament
We invite you to join our team of dedicated volunteers for the 2026-2027 Override Tournament at Shore! Volunteers are essential to creating a positive, fun, and fair experience for all participants. Whether you’re a robotics enthusiast, educator, parent, student, or community member, your contribution makes a real difference.
Why Volunteer?

Volunteer Roles
We offer a variety of roles to suit different interests and experience levels, including:
- Judges: Evaluate team interviews and engineering notebooks, providing constructive feedback.
- Referees: Ensure matches are played fairly according to official rules.
- Scorekeepers: Record and manage match results.
- Field Reset Crew: Help reset the field between matches for smooth event flow.
- Pit Admin: Assist teams in the pit area and provide information.
- Check-In/Registration: Welcome teams and volunteers, confirm attendance.
- General Event Support: Lend a hand wherever needed—set up, pack down, and more!
Full training and support will be provided for all roles.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of extreme weather conditions the event will be cancelled. Organisers will do their best to give advance notice where possible.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Refunds will be issued
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
Cancellations with less than 10 days notice will forfeit the registration fee.

The main entrance to Shore is located on Blue St.
Visitor parking will be available under the Bishopsgate Basketball Courts. Please enter via Hunter Crescent, off William St.
Shore is easily accessible by Metro (Victoria Cross station) or Train (North Sydney station). There are also numerous bus services to North Sydney. All visitors to Shore are highly encouraged to catch public transport.
Judging Format
Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on Events.VEX. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
All Digital Engineering Notebooks must be uploaded 7 days prior to the event, but can be edited up to the morning of the event.
